This card making idea is perfect for any time or make it for Friendship day in July. This one is a favorite of mine! I have been creating with the Free as a Bird stamp set a bunch but I found myself coloring in the same colors as the Designer Series Paper. I did, so I just punched out the "good" part and NO ONE KNOWS!!
I used the following colors (all the dark blends) no blending for some very simple coloring; Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Petal Pink. For the background I've created a light all over wash with my Aqua Painter in Balmy Blue ink on Shimmery White cardstock. Then for the image layer, I die cut a circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies out of Petal Pink. Order the products I used and make this project yourself! As beautiful as that paper is, I decided to go with a cardinal card instead... This beautiful suite is available in the 2019 – 2020 Stampin' Up! I stamped the bird and flower images with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. One of my favorite product suites in the new catalog is Bird Ballad found on pages 90-92.
